In response to the harmful and dehumanising narratives in the mainstream media, this show discusses the metatextual conversations of transphobia, transmedicalism, mental health issues and isolation. A reclamation of stories, identities and bodies from the trans community.TRANS/FORM is an experimental theatre piece with cabaret influences. The show flows between dance, spoken word, lip syncs, even live guided meditation. Each cast member brings experience from the Bristol drag scene, and has the chance to reveal a part of themselves within the narrative.Each chapter corresponds to a different part of the body and the unique relationship trans people have with our physical forms. There will be a different ending on each night.
